The Bryan Swim Team welcomes you to the 2019 GNOAC Swimming Championship! We are looking forward to a fun and competitive weekend. The GNOAC Swimming Championship meet will be held on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday July 14, 2019 at the Moore Park Pool, located at 1017 Oakwood Avenue. For those of you that have not visited us before, we are lucky to be surrounded by a beautiful park area with trees, picnic areas, and two playgrounds. Parking will be available in areas adjacent to the pool. Campers will not be allowed to stay overnight anywhere due to Bryan Parks & Rec regulations.
We will have a very limited supply of GNOAC Championship shirts available for purchase during Champs for $15.

GENERAL MEET INFORMATION:
Warm-ups will begin at 7:30am. Each team will have thirty minutes for warm ups according to the schedule below:
7:30am- 8:00am Lane 2 & 3: BRYAN
Lane 4 & 5: WAUSEON
Lane 6 & 7: NAPOLEON
8:00am- 8:30am Lane 2 & 3: OTTAWA
Lane 4 & 5: DEFIANCE AYERSVILLE
Lane 6 & 7: BOWLING GREEN
Coaches should have their swimmers leave the pool promptly at the conclusion of their warm up time.
The meet will begin promptly at 8:45 am. A two-hour break will be taken at the conclusion of the preliminary events on both Saturday and Sunday. Finals will then begin with warm-ups following the schedule given above for the preliminary warm-ups. The precise time will be announced each day of the meet.
GNOAC Champs t-shirts can be purchased using the link below. Champs t-shirt orders can be picked up at the apparel table the Sat/Sun of the championship meet. There will be a very limited supply available for purchase the day of the meet.

Registration will begin April 16th with in-person and online options available. Joining us this year as head coach for the swim team is Aarika Alabata and Dena Sailer for the Dive Team.
In person registration will be available from 5-8pm on April 16th at the Bryan Community Center on Buffalo Road. Forms will be posted on the website and Facebook group. Kelly’s Poco Loco will be available at that time, if you have any swimwear/accessories needs.
Print and fill out “Registration Forms” and turn in on registration day. OR complete the “Online Registration”
IMPORTANT CHAMPS INFO: July 14-15
VENUE: Napoleon Municipal Pool, 520 Glenwood Avenue, Napoleon, OH 43545. Bleachers available and lawn chairs welcome. Team tents will be arranged at the south end of the pool. Concessions will be available for drinks and snacks. Food truck vendors include the Weenie Dawgs Concessions, Snow Cones, and 5V BBQ. Heat sheets will be on sale. Kelly’s Poco Loco will be at the meet offering swim suits, apparel, and other items for sale.
PARKING: Parking is available in the pool parking lot (no parking in the adjacent golf course lot), the city lot across from the adjacent ball field, behind Nickles Bakery across from the park, at the Northwest Ohio Dental Specialty Center (shows as Maumee Valley Dental Assisting School on Google), and at Northwest Ohio Gymnastics.
WARM-UPS: Bryan will warm up at 7:30. BE AT THE POOL BY 7:10 AM each morning.
MEET START TIMES: The Prelims sessions of the meet will begin promptly at 8:40 a.m. each day. A two hour break will be taken at the conclusion of the preliminary events on both Saturday and Sunday. Finals will then begin with warm-ups following the same order and lane assignments given above for preliminary warm-ups. The times for Finals will be announced each day of the meet.
AWARDS: The awards for 8 & under swimmers will be distributed at the conclusion of the Preliminary session on Saturday. ALL other awards will be bagged and a coach from each team will pick up at the conclusion of Finals on Sunday. We will hand out awards at the awards banquet on July 16.
TIMERS: Each team is responsible for providing timers for each session of the meet. We are responsible for providing timers for Lane 2 each day, both sessions. Please let me know if you are willing to time.
DISQUALIFICATION ZONE: The area behind the blocks will be cordoned off to designate the disqualification zone. Spectators entering the zone may disqualify their swimmer.
Parade: The parade will be held after the Sunday afternoon warm-ups, before the start of Sunday afternoon Finals. Our theme this year is Rock ’N Roll.
